About the Role
The Principal Building Systems Advisor at Stark Tech is the foremost technical expert for complex building systems, providing guidance on HVAC, controls, energy systems, and building analytics. This role diagnoses intricate building performance issues, conducts assessments, and translates data into actionable recommendations to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and occupant comfort. The advisor collaborates with cross-functional teams, validates operational data, and supports the deployment of the Optelligent™ platform. Additionally, the position mentors technical staff, captures institutional knowledge, establishes best practices, and serves as the highest level of technical escalation. The advisor also evaluates emerging technologies to advance Stark Tech’s service offerings and ensure the successful execution of complex projects and customer initiatives.

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of highly specialized experience in building systems, HVAC, controls, building automation, commissioning, energy management, facilities operations, or related technical disciplines required.
- Significant technical, industry, or thought leadership experience serving as a recognized subject matter expert in building systems performance, operational optimization, controls, energy systems, or intelligent building technologies required.
- Experience providing technical consultation and advisory services to customers, engineers, technicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders required.
