  • Represent Cardless credibly in direct conversations with the press.
  • Identify and pursue interviews, bylines, panels, and speaking opportunities for leadership.
  • Prepare executives for press interactions with talking points and compelling narratives.
  • Build a cadence of thought leadership to reinforce Cardless's positioning.
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure public messaging aligns with other company communications.
  • Plan and execute PR for new brand partnerships, including joint announcements.
  • Navigate partner communications approval processes for timely and accurate joint announcements.
  • Leverage partner launches as press moments to reinforce the broader market narrative.
  • Coordinate timing across press, product, and partnerships for cohesive launch moments.
  • Draft and manage press releases, media kits, and briefing documents.
  • Track coverage quality and placements, reporting on effectiveness.
  • Maintain media lists and outreach systems for repeatable relationship-building.

Requirements

  • Existing relationships with reporters and editors covering fintech, payments, or consumer brands.
  • Strong news judgment to identify and shape stories.
  • Ability to prepare executives for interviews, enhancing their sharpness and confidence.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, accurate press materials quickly.
  • Skill in cross-functional coordination for joint announcements and launches.
  • Composure under pressure to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on pitching, writing, and relationship-building.
