About the Role

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Manager, Transformation Communications for a six-month contract. This high-visibility role is crucial for informing, engaging, and preparing colleagues and clients for organizational transformation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of transformation context, including client and colleague impact, value proposition, and commercial drivers, to design and execute effective communication strategies.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the communications strategy for the transformation portfolio, ensuring a coherent and consistent narrative.
Own and deliver internal and external communications for projects within the transformation portfolio, including Client Account Leader (CAL) and Acela programmes.
Develop and lead communications articulating the broader transformation programme and strategic narrative to colleagues and clients.
Build and maintain senior, trusted relationships across the business to understand programme nuances and advise stakeholders on communications approach.
Partner with the wider Communications team to ensure transformation messaging is consistent with all other business communications.

Requirements

Significant experience in a senior communications role, preferably within a complex, matrixed, or dynamic environment.
Proven track record of leading communications through large-scale transformation programmes.
Deep experience navigating and communicating difficult people changes (restructures, role changes, redundancies, cultural shifts) with sensitivity and clarity.
Exceptional writing and narrative skills to craft compelling, audience-appropriate content.
Strong influencing and advisory capability to challenge, shape, and guide senior stakeholders.
Multi-channel communications expertise, including digital, video, visual storytelling, town halls, and manager cascades.
Extensive experience in both internal (colleague) and external (client) communications.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, autonomously, and with pace.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and quick decision-making.
