About the Role

Deliver non-emergency patient transport services, ensuring high-quality care and patient dignity. This role involves transporting patients to and from hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver non-emergency transport to patients.
  • Transport patients to and from hospital appointments.
  • Provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain the ambulance to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Work as part of a single or double crew.
  • Use appropriate manual handling techniques to lift and manoeuvre patients.
  • Promote safeguarding by implementing policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively, and sharing information appropriately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Commitment to treating patients with dignity and respect.
  • Successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check.
