About the Role
This role is for a Staff AI Product Designer who blends product design and frontend engineering. The ideal candidate will define and build the look and feel of AI-native workflows, making complex enterprise tools intuitive. The company values design portfolios, systems thinking, and a track record of shipping over formal degrees.
Responsibilities
- Own the primary user-facing features, defining the visual language, interaction patterns, and user flows for core product features, and shipping them to production.
- Build and evolve the design system, designing reusable component libraries for Figma and code, and establishing patterns for layouts, interactions, and visual hierarchy.
- Bridge AI capabilities with intuitive experiences by partnering with product and engineering to design interfaces that make complex capabilities feel simple.
Requirements
- Designer first, engineer by growth: A product designer with a strong visual and interaction foundation, who has designed complex software products and learned to code.
- Expert in design tools and systems thinking: Proficient in Figma, design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns, with an understanding of how components combine into cohesive experiences at scale.
- AI-native designer who builds in code: Uses AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Replit to rapidly translate concepts into working, near-production-grade prototypes, with an obsession for micro-interactions, transitions, spacing, color, and accessibility.
- Shipped AI-native features to production: Understands the challenges of building with LLMs, designing for non-determinism, creating delightful experiences around unpredictable outputs, and innovating UX patterns for cutting-edge AI.
- User-centered, outcome-driven: Grounds design decisions in research and feedback, owns the end-to-end experience from sketch to ship, and advocates for users while balancing business and technical constraints.
