About the Role
Axos seeks a Segment Marketing Specialist to accelerate full-funnel efforts for the Consumer Banking division. This role supports marketing strategy execution, develops plans aligned with business goals, and involves collaboration with stakeholders. The specialist will handle both strategic and day-to-day marketing execution for Axos Consumer Bank.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop marketing strategies and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Manage projects in Workfront, including campaign oversight and fulfilling requests, while maintaining communication with business partners.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, manage campaigns and projects, and track performance metrics with support from the marketing services team.
- Develop and manage relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Analyze market trends and client insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Develop and manage lead generation, brand awareness, and nurture programs.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance marketing deliverables and streamline operations.
- Review deliverables from the Marketing shared services group for brand, messaging, accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Research digital acquisition, SEO, and future marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Improve marketing quality and speed to market by evaluating and proposing process changes.
- Gather and analyze marketing and campaign data to create reports.
- Act as a business segment champion within Marketing and a Marketing champion within the business.
- Coordinate content, messaging, design, and tracking of marketing efforts across various channels with internal partners and external vendors.
- Conduct special projects and provide other business or marketing support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of marketing experience (client-side or agency), including project management.
- Consumer Banking and/or Financial Services marketing experience is preferred.
- Strong project management skills; Workfront experience is helpful but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with business executives.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and complex processes, and to problem-solve.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work demands and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Interaction Studio.
- Experience developing and deploying account-based marketing strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
