About the Role
The Account Director will analyze, solve, and present integrated solutions to client pain points, identify new workstreams for client growth, and act as a trusted advisor to senior brand managers and marketing directors. They will lead teams, champion creative work, and manage project execution and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Build strong client relationships
- Partner with capability experts to deliver integrated solutions, identify new business opportunities, scope of work, and revenue
- Manage account teams
- Formulate plans to manage and exploit opportunities to drive business
- Prioritize client needs, interfacing regularly with all client levels and striving for innovative solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, leveraging agency resources to support client business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creative and strategic partners, navigating conflicting priorities
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
- Take responsibility and accountability for overall agency performance and flawless delivery
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in account management
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including digital marketing
- Appreciation for how great work is produced and commitment to creative excellence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Passion for the industry
- Diplomatic, empathetic leadership
- Excellent listening skills and ability to adapt to the situation
