About the Role

The Account Director will analyze, solve, and present integrated solutions to client pain points, identify new workstreams for client growth, and act as a trusted advisor to senior brand managers and marketing directors. They will lead teams, champion creative work, and manage project execution and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships

  • Manage account teams
  • Formulate plans to manage and exploit opportunities to drive business
  • Prioritize client needs, interfacing regularly with all client levels and striving for innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, leveraging agency resources to support client business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with creative and strategic partners, navigating conflicting priorities
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
  • Take responsibility and accountability for overall agency performance and flawless delivery

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in account management
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including digital marketing
  • Appreciation for how great work is produced and commitment to creative excellence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Passion for the industry
  • Diplomatic, empathetic leadership
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to adapt to the situation
