About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's front desk, providing excellent guest service, and fostering a positive work environment for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  • Ensures all Front Desk colleagues are familiar with and updated on hotel products and services.
  • Establishes rapport with guests and maintains good customer relationships.
  • Cooperates with other departments to prioritize guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures the safe running of the hotel.
  • Reviews arrival reports and VIP information to ensure special requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Attends regular training on updated topics and required skill sets.
  • Communicates and liaises effectively with other leaders in the department and hotel.
  • Creates an environment that allows colleagues to achieve job fulfillment and career development.
  • Executes financial activities adhering to policies, procedures, and ensuring accuracy in record keeping.
  • Promotes the upsell program per brand standards.
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent team leading and team management skills.
  • Fluent and confident in English; additional national and international languages are an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership qualities.
  • Strong guest service orientation and training skills background preferred.
  • Maintains professional and pleasant body language at all times.
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
