About the Role

As a Doorperson at Fairmont San Francisco, your engaging personality will make a lasting impression on guests from the moment they arrive. You will consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service, assisting guests with their needs and providing information about hotel facilities.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Open car doors for arriving and departing guests while greeting them warmly
• Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage to and from guest vehicles
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous customer related experience an asset
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
• Exposure to hot surfaces
• Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States
