About the Role

The Production Analyzer Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable in-process quality measurements through the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments. This role plays a critical part in process optimization and in line measurements by troubleshooting complex instrumentation, partnering with maintenance teams to plan repairs, and serving as the analytical representative on capital projects to enhance analyzer systems.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance and calibration of plant analyzers, coordinate shutdown activities with operations.
Monitor analyzer performance, conduct preventive maintenance, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with operations and quality teams to optimize analyzer systems; compile and present process data and escalate out-of-control parameters.
Work with maintenance to repair and maintain analyzer loop components and sample systems (e.g., tubing, valves, fittings).
Diagnose and resolve process and instrumentation issues requiring advanced knowledge of process control systems.
Provide operator training on analyzer interactions and define roles and responsibilities for in-process analytics.
Take ownership of in-process measuring aHCl quality equipment.
Take ownership of final product leak testing equipment.
Provide support and backfill for final lot testing if needed to assist with lab resources.

Requirements

Proficiency in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analytical systems.
Strong understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
Ability to interpret and present process data effectively.
Skilled in mechanical repairs involving tubing, valves, and fittings.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety and quality compliance standards.
