About the Role
This role leads the execution of complex industrial water treatment projects for high-tech industries, managing the full lifecycle from initial definition through commissioning and start-up while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop project teams by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure adherence to project constraints.
- Analyze project status and revise scope, schedule, or budget as necessary.
- Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, quality standards, and performance metrics.
- Develop partnerships with third-party vendors, consultants, and safety coordinators.
- Assign and monitor resources to maximize project efficiency.
- Report project outcomes and risks to management.
- Track project performance against KPIs including time, quality, and cost.
- Ensure accurate handover of information to the MO team.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in managing project erection, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Proven experience managing projects involving civil works.
- Proven experience managing and validating engineering documents such as P&ID, PFD, mass balance, piping drawings, and control narratives.
- Proven experience managing and coordinating work groups and resources.
- Fluent in English and French (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of European safety and environmental legislation and CE certification requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO quality assurance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project.
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
