About the Role
Lennox AES is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Crew Leaders to travel nationally and lead teams of 4-6 members. This role offers significant overtime opportunities, typically 1,000+ hours per year, and industry-leading per diem rates.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment in commercial buildings, including electrical, controls, gas piping, condensate drains, unit removal, and setting new units with a crane.
- Manage field teams of 4-6 members and record personnel timekeeping.
- Read and implement installation from blueprints and site drawings.
- Enforce OSHA construction safety guidelines.
- Operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), Telehandler Forklift, and perform Crane Rigger/Signal Person duties.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and office personnel.
- Use mobile devices for communication and information transfer.
- Work and oversee project sites in various outdoor elements.
- Understand construction workflow, sheet metal, and duct installation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacements.
- Experience with rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge, and construction safety.
- Ability to acquire licenses required to work on jobs in certain states (Journeyman licensing).
- Ability to work overtime.
- Willingness to travel 100%.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must pass a National Background Check.
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check (MVR).
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
