About the Role

We are looking for an analytical and experienced Demand Planner to accurately forecast promotional and run rate business for their account. This role involves owning all forecasting activities, developing unit forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends, performing root cause analysis of demand issues, and providing monthly Sales & Operations updates to the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Channel, and Supply to develop forecasts at a SKU level, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop consistent communication and processes with Sales leadership and Channel to ensure promotions are supported and forecast expectations are clear.
  • Assist Sales by analyzing order trends, highlighting items where forecasts do not match trends, and recommending adjustments.
  • Proactively highlight and communicate any risks to inventory availability, working closely with Sales to mitigate potential issues.
  • Continuously work to enhance internal processes and performance metrics, driving efficiency and alignment across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analysis, or a related analytical function.
  • Experience managing Amazon (AMZ) accounts is considered an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Power Query.
  • Experience working with ERP or planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Demantra, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and supply chain best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a continuous improvement mindset and a drive to optimize processes and key performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
