About the Role

As a hands-on technical leader, you will deliver high-quality software, solve complex engineering challenges, mentor other engineers, and strengthen engineering practices, operational resilience, and delivery capabilities within the SimCorp Technology team and across Technology & Data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support end-to-end technology solutions that enable complex business capabilities in an Agile environment
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and coaching while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement within and across teams
  • Apply advanced knowledge of the technical landscape and supported business capabilities to guide solution design and engineering decisions
  • Encourage agility and innovation through experimentation, early feedback, and responsiveness to evolving business needs
  • Frame complex problems clearly, engage colleagues in thoughtful analysis, and build support for well-reasoned recommendations
  • Lead or facilitate cross-team root-cause analysis and strengthen operational resilience
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, peer technology teams, and vendors while fostering collaboration, mentorship, learning, and professional growth

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field, such as Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least six years of relevant software engineering or technology experience
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, readable, well-documented code that follows established coding standards
  • Experience providing technical leadership, coaching, or mentorship to other engineers
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and vendor teams
  • You are motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself, approach complex challenges with rigor, and hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
