About the Role

Join one of Canada’s top performing asset managers as an experienced Manager on the Performance Attribution Solutions (PAS) team. The PAS Team provides performance, attribution, and investment analytics data and insights to internal and external stakeholders, including investment teams and portfolio managers. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with an ownership mindset, who is self-motivated and drives results.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate an environment centered on innovation, ownership, and achieving results.
  • Support talent development, including onboarding and training.
  • Manage daily functional activities, develop scalable workflows, and reduce operational risk.
  • Provide leadership, manage project timelines, unblock hurdles, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Partner with Senior Managers and Affiliates to execute strategic objectives and deliver ad hoc projects.
  • Serve as the primary analytics liaison between investment, operations, and sales/marketing teams.
  • Proactively identify, design, and execute continuous improvements for operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and service quality.
  • Manage key relationships across teams to ensure aligned priorities and effective collaboration.
  • Implement data quality assurance processes and tools for accurate and timely analytic data.
  • Oversee the implementation and rollout of new platforms and tools.
  • Drive the design and deployment of institutional and quant-grade distribution and visualization tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with investment analytics, preferably within the investment management industry.
  • Deep understanding of performance and attribution methodologies and their application to complex global investment products and structures.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct leadership experience in performance, analytics, or investment operations teams.
  • Experience with geographically distributed teams is an asset.
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated capacity for pattern recognition and engineering creative, structured solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional ethos dedicated to continuous process improvement, de-risking, and optimization of operational workflows.
