About the Role
As a Central Dispatch Planner, you will monitor and report changes in flight information and passenger quantities. You will serve as the primary liaison between airlines and internal departments, ensuring all requirements are met by coordinating with departments such as Kitchen and Stores. Your role involves preparing and distributing labels and information, validating food safety compliance, and ensuring quality and quantity control according to production and menu specifications. You will analyze flight data to provide timely information, support the DO & CO family in maintaining high standards, and contribute to the company's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report major changes from flight information to quantity of passengers
- Act as the main point of contact between airlines and internal departments
- Plan and coordinate to ensure requirements are met with all departments in the Do & Co operational areas
- Maintain, prepare, and print labels and allocate information to all departments
- Ensure quality and quantity control as per production and menu specifications of all flights
- Check and validate food safety compliance
- Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery of food assembly and production lines
- Provide accurate and timely information to the Transport team regarding any extra requirements
- Analyze flight data to assist in planning any increase/decrease in stock requirements
- Ensure the area of operation is a safe place to work and be a role model in adhering to all policies (Site Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental and Security policies)
- Provide exceptionally high-class service to our customer, delivering goods on time to specification and an accurate handover
- Take responsibility for all actions, support the team, and celebrate successes
Requirements

- Great understanding of how the department is performing overall, including financially, and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach
- Flexibility in regards to work availability is essential, as the Production Kitchen operates 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
