About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, physically active Account Manager to drive growth in the metal recycling industry. You will manage relationships with catalytic converter suppliers, secure competitive pricing, and perform on-site inspections and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain supplier relationships through regular in-person visits.
  • Identify new supplier opportunities and assess operations on-site.
  • Inspect catalytic converters for quality and compliance.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and transporting converters.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing shifts to guide negotiations.
  • Negotiate directly with suppliers and prepare accurate bids.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to manage purchasing, processing, and shipping.

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, business development, or sales.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and pricing data.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
