About the Role
The Front Office Supervisor plays an important role in overall guest experience, ensuring excellent first and lasting impressions. This role oversees the Front Office department to ensure guests' needs are met throughout their stay and service is delivered consistently in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include managing pre-arrival requests, guest arrivals, in-house experiences, billing, departures, and post-departure feedback.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accounting instructions are accurately managed and the Hotel credit policy is followed by the Reception team.
- Ensure all Front Office and Guest Service departments are correctly staffed, suitably trained, and performing duties to the required standard.
- Oversee smooth handovers between shifts.
- Assist with check-in and check-outs.
- Ensure regular inspections of public areas are carried out and that defects are reported and rectified.
- Drive the Corinthia Values and philosophy within the team, ensuring all SOPs and policies are well communicated and adhered to.
- Assess training needs using guest feedback, online reviews, and audits, and organize training in liaison with Operational Coaches.
- Ensure all new team members receive appropriate training and cross-training in relevant departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Front Office experience in a similar size and star-rated Hotel.
- Strong background in Front of House/Front Office operations.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.
- Fluency in another language is an advantage.
- Knowledge of property management systems (e.g. Micros/Fidelio, Opera, etc.).
