About the Role
Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling material, and maintaining the efficient flow of product.
Responsibilities
- Stocking and replenishment, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.
- Perform daily cycle counting and research discrepancies.
- Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select products.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
- Assist in counting physical inventory.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Complete deliveries by driving a truck or van; load and unload trucks.
- Frequently lift product weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; reach up to 72 inches; bend and twist while operating equipment.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance.
- Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock.
- Distribute machinery as jobs are pulled.
- Assist in maintenance of machinery such as humidifiers, water extractors, grinding machines, rip-up machines, etc.
Requirements
- 2+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Experience with machinery maintenance.
- Motivated, hard-working, and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
- Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Fundamental software and hardware computer skills are required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record required.
