About the Role

FAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to perform entry-level tasks including picking, packing, and re-labeling products for shipping. This role assists in shipping products to customers and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Re-label and re-package orders per pick list
• Understand CMS / ERP operations, written procedures, and screens required to perform duties
• Transfer parts to internal teams as required
• Unload and load trucks as needed
• Assist with cycle counts
• Assist with physical inventory as required
• Perform material handling tasks
• Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair-Rite is certified
• Follow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety Health Policy

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1 – 3 months on the job training and or experience related to Shipping and Receiving
• Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate (Preferred)
• 3 months on the job training and or experience in Shipping and Receiving (Preferred)

Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate CMS/ERP system effectively
• Ability to use stairway ladder
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to operate R.F. (radio frequency) gun
• Ability to learn and use new computer programs
