About the Role
As an Equity Research intern, you will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on, either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. You will be embedded in our buy-side strategy-focused trading desk monitoring your own basket of stocks ranging across various sectors such as Macro, Index, ETF, Equity and more. You will work collaboratively with Traders who rely heavily on the analysis you provide to make trading decisions.
Responsibilities
- Finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on.
- Monitoring your own basket of stocks across various sectors.
- Interpreting intraday headlines.
- Conveying opinions around the dynamics of a sector.
- Prepping in advance for a future event.
- Developing trade ideas on your allocated basket of stocks.
- Providing real-time opinions on breaking news throughout the trading day.
Requirements
- Market Enthusiast: Keeping up to date on current events and breaking news that affect the markets.
- Collaborator: Enjoy building relationships and sharing ideas.
- Numerical & Logical: Use clear and sound reasoning, numbers, and data from historic events.
- Ambitious: Constantly set goals and give your all to achieve them.
- Curious: Eager to find out more about the Finance sector and Equity Research.
- Class of 2027 or 2028.
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
