About the Role

This role will manage outreach and awareness activities designed to engage industry and workforce audiences in support of federal programs within the U.S. Department of Labor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage integrated communications and outreach activities in support of Department of Labor initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of awareness and outreach integrated marketing campaign strategies based on market research and data analysis.
  • Coordinate multi-channel marketing efforts across earned, owned, paid, and PSA.
  • Oversee strategic advertising placement and media booking to optimize message reach.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders and workforce partners to expand targeted outreach.
  • Manage multiple outreach projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
  • Supervise communications specialists and provide guidance across research, creative, and media activities.
  • Contribute to regular campaign performance reporting and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, data analysis, or a similar field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns (5MM+), communications and partnership and outreach programs.

Skills

  • Experience conducting or applying market research and translating insights into actionable campaign strategies and plans.
  • Experience leading and managing integrated marketing efforts across earned, owned, and paid.
  • Experience overseeing advertising placement or media coordination.
  • Experience managing communications specialists or cross-functional project teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with industry stakeholders or partners in support of government.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting workforce development or employee-focused programs.
  • Experience developing campaign reports and presenting findings to clients.
  • Experience supporting Department of Labor or other federal agencies is a plus.
