About the Role
The EMEA Investment Management Operations Team provides Middle and Back Office Operations functions for the EMEA region’s client-base. This role involves managing onshore Trade Support and offshore Settlement teams, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and prompt issue resolution to maintain client service levels and reduce risk.
Responsibilities
- Manage onshore Trade Support and offshore Settlement teams.
- Allocate Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivative transactions.
- Confirm Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives trades.
- Perform time-sensitive security creation and validation for Fixed Income new issue trading.
- Conduct new market due diligence.
- Resolve Portfolio Management and Trade related queries.
- Perform risk analysis of departmental processes and procedures.
- Participate in global internal working groups and functional service level forums.
- Compile and review confirmation metrics.
- Settle EMEA Equity and Fixed Income trading.
- Resolve Interest and Coupon Claims.
- Compile and review Settlements and Claims metrics.
- Lead regular formal Broker Reviews.
- Lead formal Custodian Reviews.
- Attend relevant Industry Forums.
- Lead projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Five years proven experience gained in a Financial Operations environment.
- Good understanding of Front to Back operational processes.
- Good product knowledge.
- Sound understanding of Markets and Settlements.
- Experience with International Market practices, rules, and regulations.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
