About the Role
This role involves providing proactive and commercial HR advice and guidance to the business, assisting in the delivery of overall business strategy. It includes providing escalation support and coaching to HR Advisers, contributing to the team's ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support on end-to-end employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Support the conduct of investigations into complaints and allegations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Advise on complex employee relations issues, including case management of performance improvement plans, sickness absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries, escalating as required.
- Collaborate with managers and HRBPs to develop action plans for employee concerns and performance issues.
- Support the ER Manager in monitoring and analysing employee relations trends to recommend proactive solutions.
- Support the HRBP - Policy & Contracts with the development and implementation of ER policies and procedures.
- Deliver training to managers and HR Teams on ER best practices, conflict resolution, and employment law.
Requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice, employment law, and current thinking and developments in HR.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience of more complex case management.
- Experience of coaching others for their development.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
