About the Role
This role leads the planning, operational management, and execution of International PR programmes across approximately 30 markets, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of PR initiatives, driving operational excellence, and strengthening storytelling and measurement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and operational management for International PR across ~30 markets.
- Oversee processes, governance, and budget management to ensure efficient programme execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in ways of working, tools, and planning frameworks.
- Lead International PR delivery for major global events (e.g. Discover).
- Act as PMO lead for regional events (e.g. Discover Barcelona), including planning, governance, and budget oversight.
- Partner with regional PR leads to support local event execution (e.g. customer site visits, media engagements).
- Drive the International customer storytelling engine to increase the volume and impact of customer-led PR.
- Own execution for UKIMEA and partner with regional teams to scale best practices globally.
- Lead regular reporting and performance evaluation across International PR activity.
- Oversee coverage tracking and analysis (e.g. Meltwater, Point600).
- Deliver quarterly reporting and insights, including recommendations to strengthen impact and ROI.
- Act as a key partner to International PR leads and the UKIMEA Communications team.
- Support delivery of PR activities including articles, bylines, and campaigns as required.
- Mentor and support the International PR intern, providing guidance on planning, reporting, and programme execution.
- Drive quarterly PR planning process, including consolidation of market activity and alignment with the Global Communications calendar.
- Maintain and manage central planning tools (e.g. master WIP trackers).
- Lead coverage reporting cycles, including data collection, analysis, and quarterly reporting decks.
- Manage international media and analyst engagement processes for major events (invitation lists, coordination with agencies).
- Oversee event budgets and financial processes (including transaction management and reconciliation).
- Drive continuous improvement in storytelling, reporting, and planning processes across regions.
Requirements
- BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
- 10+ years of experience in PR, AR or a combination of marketing and communications disciplines.
