About the Role
Rocking Horse Ranch Resort is seeking talented and experienced Horse Wranglers to instruct guests of all riding levels within the largest saddle horse operation in North America.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily horse care, including brushing, grooming, saddling, tack maintenance, barn work, and feeding.
- Offer a warm and Western riding experience for guests of all skill levels.
- Maintain a fun and safe riding environment by adhering to all management procedures.
- Direct and lead up to 8 guest rides per day with a herd of 120 horses.
Requirements
- Expert horse care and riding skills.
- Ability to mount and dismount without a block.
- Proficiency in walking, trotting, cantering, and stopping a horse.
- Guest-focused approach and high level of patience.
- Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a true team player.
- Physical capacity to navigate around 100+ horses and ride in diverse weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs over your head.
