About the Role
Seeking a dynamic Customer Operations Representative responsible for driving customer acquisition, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery in the third-party logistics (3PL) sector. This role is vital for maximizing margins, fostering partnerships, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with prospective customers.
- Evaluate customer orders based on market conditions, capacity, and volume projections.
- Execute data entry, coordinate shipment routing, and manage appointment scheduling.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address deviations.
- Collaborate with sales managers to devise and execute customer development strategies.
- Serve as a problem-solver for customers, carriers, and colleagues.
- Manage post-shipment tasks including OSD resolution, POD and billing reconciliation, and accessorial revenue issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven track record in persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
