About the Role
This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT integrations for acquired companies into the Ryan technology environment, primarily supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The role focuses on project management and stakeholder coordination to ensure technical requirements are met for Day 1 operational readiness. It also supports integration cutovers and technology changes through coordination with internal teams, vendors, and acquired entities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and foster productive interactions.
- Act as the primary IT liaison for staff at acquired companies before and during integration.
- Serve as a liaison for back-office staff supporting acquisition and move projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors on acquisition and move projects.
- Liaise with staff at Ryan office locations during office moves.
- Manage and deliver multiple projects with strong time management, coordination, and leadership.
- Partner with acquisition targets, acquired companies, various Ryan departments, IT, and office personnel for technical integrations and office moves.
- Serve as the primary IT contact for acquired companies during technical integration.
- Lead coordination with acquisition targets, acquired companies, business units, staff, vendors, and IT teams for project planning, design, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate integration activities across infrastructure, applications, and information security teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to schedule integration activities and ensure timely delivery.
- Support end users during integration and cutover activities.
- Own and deliver the technology aspects of integration projects from discovery through stabilization.
- Lead detailed discovery and needs assessment to identify business-critical systems and dependencies for Day 1 readiness.
- Develop and manage project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation.
- Identify gaps between acquired company environments and Ryan standards and coordinate solutions.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, including unknown applications or business dependencies.
- Coordinate with IT management to identify opportunities for improving integration and office move methods and procedures.
- Support planning and implementation of Firm technology strategies through project delivery.
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress, key milestones, and performance metrics.
- Maintain project-level documentation for integration activities, systems, and configurations.
- Perform other applicable duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing IT or technology projects in a medium to large, multi-location environment.
- Experience coordinating infrastructure, workplace, or enterprise IT initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience supporting office setups, relocations, or technology integrations is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business and technical analysis skills, with strength in requirements gathering and discovery.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including identification and communication of risks and escalation items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams to determine appropriate solutions aligned with business needs.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft® Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with project planning and documentation tools such as SmartSheet and Visio is preferred.
- Experience with ITSM or ticketing tools (e.g., TrackIT! or similar) is beneficial.
- A solid understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, end-user computing, and systems, is required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- International passport or the ability to procure one is required.
- This job will not directly supervise employees but will coordinate and direct the activities of cross-functional teams and vendors at a project level.
