About the Role

Corpay is seeking a Director of Strategic Sales to prospect and close new B2B clients through outbound efforts within the Corporate Payments division. This remote-based role will focus on the Manhattan and Northwest New Jersey territory and report to the VP of Sales, collaborating with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Channel Partner teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, cold-call, and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and channel partners.
  • Manage opportunities through Salesforce to track pipeline and optimize activities.
  • Attend trade shows, conduct webinars, and engage in thought leadership activities to generate leads.
  • Create and deliver customized sales presentations and collateral in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Study market trends and company metrics to adapt sales strategies and identify new client segments.
  • Execute proposals, meetings, and diligent follow-up to close new business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of demonstrated success in B2B sales.
  • 8+ years of experience selling financial products (SaaS experience a plus).
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field required.
  • Strong persistence, self-confidence, and comfort with cold calling.
  • High-impact communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial products into clear, compelling value propositions.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
