About the Role
We are hiring a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate who will play an integral role in shaping the strategy and execution of the Dasher & Logistics team. You'll tackle some of our highest-priority business problems by getting into the weeds to understand what's happening on the ground across markets, using data and customer insights to identify opportunities, developing and testing hypotheses, and partnering cross-functionally to bring solutions to life at scale. You will report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team.
Responsibilities
- Use a data-driven approach to investigate problems, creating insightful analysis from a combination of quantitative and qualitative information
- Operate at the lowest level of detail in order to build strong foundational knowledge of your problem space and the business
- Define and test hypotheses through experimentation, and learn how to develop and implement strategies to improve the experience of our users
- Work cross-functionally across multiple teams teams to drive impact, such as Product, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing
- Develop new skills and advance your career, with opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities as you progress in your role
Requirements
- Able to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset
- Can crunch data in SQL/excel independently
- Love thinking about problems from a first principles approach, and you aren’t afraid to take action and try new things in order to create the future
- Able to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Focus on getting stuff done and aren’t afraid to get into the details
- No job is beneath you and you lead from the front and with optimism
