About the Role

CNS helps people with brain injury find hope, independence, and return to a meaningful life. As a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist, you will supervise and participate in speech and cognitive therapeutic techniques for patient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Examines and evaluates patients, identifying communication/cognitive problems, including type, causal factors, and severity.
  • Develops, updates, and implements individualized patient treatment plans with long and short-term goals.
  • Performs reporting procedures.
  • Consults with patients, families, and therapists from various disciplines to instruct, advise, or inform them of procedures and tests.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
  • Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association required.
  • Current licensure or eligible to practice professional Speech Pathology in the state where practicing required.
