About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering front list titles across formats for hardback, paperback and some 4c printing. You’ll be passionate about producing high quality books across both fiction and non-fiction. This role offers a chance to develop a wide range of production skills and would suit a seasoned assistant looking to step up or a controller looking for a fresh challenge.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement solutions for manufacturing, costing, and scheduling challenges.
- Deliver front list titles across formats for hardback, paperback and some 4c printing.
- Produce high quality books across both fiction and non-fiction.
Requirements
- Good experience of mono book production, with colour being an advantage.
- Experience across a range of formats and pre-press and digital workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Calm, positive and flexible approach to work, even when under pressure.
- Experience managing a busy workload with a track record of successfully delivering to deadlines while meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Eager learner with a willingness to adapt and flexibility to embrace new challenges.
