About the Role
This Business Process Analyst II role is responsible for the integrity of Zebra’s internal business processes for the logistics and transportation team, ensuring operations are effective, efficient, and support commitments to customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-dock shipments via Zebra’s 3PL to fulfill customer orders, including onboarding carriers into the shipment visibility solution and collaborating with transportation partners.
- Resolve day-to-day logistics issues by responding to order inquiries from internal/external customers and filing carrier claims for damage or loss.
- Proactively identify, plan, and implement process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma) to enhance effectiveness and efficiency within the assigned business unit.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams in process improvement and re-engineering efforts to improve service quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process failures and perform cost and benefit analyses to determine the best path forward.
- Capture current challenges and desired outcomes, understanding the upstream, downstream, and work-tool impacts of process changes to recommend solutions that minimize disruption.
- Document agreements and own the drafting and revision of new or updated business processes.
- Measure and report on the success of newly implemented or revised processes within the business unit.
Requirements
- Familiarity with functional processes in assigned business unit
- Demonstrated working knowledge / experience using basic change management principals and approaches
Skills
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred or in progress
- Formal training preferred
