About the Role

Partner with senior business and technology leaders to solve complex supply chain challenges, define enterprise-wide Oracle solution strategies, and guide critical transformation decisions. Combine deep supply chain expertise, architectural leadership, and commercial acumen to deliver lasting business value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle SCM solution architecture across discovery, design, delivery, optimisation, and transformation engagements.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on supply chain operating models, process design, Oracle capabilities, implementation approaches, and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, future-state design sessions, solution option assessments, roadmap planning, and design authority discussions.
  • Develop high-quality architecture artefacts including solution option papers, target operating model inputs, conceptual solution designs, roadmaps and transformation recommendations, and cross-functional impact assessments.
  • Shape end-to-end Oracle solutions spanning Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Product Management, Planning, Order Management, Reporting, Integration, and Data.
  • Assess design decisions across multiple workstreams, identifying dependencies, risks, implementation complexity, and downstream impacts.
  • Provide architectural leadership to programme teams, maintaining solution integrity throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support design governance activities and present recommendations to Design Authorities, Steering Committees, and executive stakeholders.
  • Help delivery teams resolve complex process, integration, data, and solution challenges.
  • Support pre-sales activities, bids, solution shaping, demonstrations, and client workshops.
  • Translate business challenges into compelling Oracle-enabled solution propositions.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, value realisation, and broader transformation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with supply chain executives, CIOs, programme sponsors, and transformation leaders.
  • Mentor consultants, architects, and solution leads across the Oracle practice.
  • Develop reusable assets, methodologies, and best practices including reference architectures, discovery frameworks, capability maturity assessments, roadmap templates, and design decision frameworks.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and market differentiation of Version 1's Oracle SCM capability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM solutions in senior architecture, advisory, or programme leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise across key Oracle SCM capabilities including Manufacturing (including Contract Manufacturing), Inventory Management, Cost Management, Supply Chain Planning, Product Management, Order Management, and Supply Chain Execution.
  • Strong understanding of how Oracle capabilities support end-to-end supply chain business processes.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate SCM with Procurement, Finance, PPM, HCM, EPM, Analytics, and Reporting platforms.
  • Significant experience designing integration, reporting, extension, and data migration strategies.
  • Practical knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs and web services, OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Experience presenting architecture recommendations, risks, and strategic options to governance forums and executive audiences.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex discussions.
  • Confidence operating as the senior client-facing representative on large Oracle transformation programmes.
  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify business value, support account growth, and contribute to winning proposals.
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to balancing business objectives, delivery realities, and solution design principles.
  • Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in GxP-regulated environments, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliance, electronic records, electronic signatures, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO), Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations (CDMO), batch manufacturing and lot genealogy, quality management and release processes, cold chain logistics and controlled distribution.
  • Experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, S&OP, and Integrated Business Planning.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations.
  • Direct industry experience in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, logistics, or quality functions.
  • SC CLEARED OR ELIGIBLE FOR CTC CLEARANCE.
  • Must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
