About the Role
The Security Operation Center (SOC) is the heart of our Corporate Security, responsible for evaluating security-relevant events, coordinating measures, and consolidating situation information. We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and reliable individual to join our Security Operation Center at Axel Springer.
Responsibilities
- Receive emergency calls, alarm messages, and technical disturbances, and initiate necessary measures quickly.
- Monitor security-relevant systems and messages, identify risks early, and react appropriately to the situation.
- Coordinate internal security forces, intervention services, and external emergency services according to defined processes.
- Document incidents, measures, and results comprehensibly and support reporting and administrative tasks.
- Ensure smooth information flow in close cooperation with supervisors, departments, and external contacts.
- Create situation reports, gather security-relevant information, and evaluate it within the scope of Corporate Security.
- Actively participate in special security situations, events, and security-relevant occurrences, making an important contribution to company security.
Requirements
- Certified security and safety specialist (GSSK), qualified according to § 34a GewO, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, experience in an emergency and service control center (NSL), security control center, plant security, or comparable security-relevant functions.
- Willingness to participate in NSL further training and other qualification measures.
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally in reporting systems.
- Act in a structured, calm, and responsible manner, even under pressure.
- Communicate clearly and bindingly in security-relevant situations.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
