About the Role
The Private Travel Manager will build personal relationships with members, inspire them with travel stories, and execute seamless travel experiences. You will have access to Scott Dunn’s expert network, an assistant, and an incredible supplier network to ensure members receive the highest level of service.
Responsibilities
- Meet and onboard new members into Scott Dunn Private
- Build strong relationships with your own portfolio of members
- Gain new referrals from satisfied and engaged members
- Develop a personalized contact plan for each member, leading to enquiry generation, retention, and growth in booking numbers per member
- Represent Scott Dunn Private at member-only and industry-wide events
- Capture all member personal preferences in Scott Dunn’s systems to refine personalized approach
- Take full ownership of selling and booking a member’s holiday, including quotations and documentation
- Collaborate with the product team to address portfolio gaps
- Account for costs and margins on each booking in line with guidelines
- Sign off all travel documentation within specified time frames
- Ensure plans are in place for travelling members, supported by out-of-hours cover, stepping in where required
- Act on feedback or complaints swiftly to ensure a great member experience and lead recovery solutions
- Work to targets and meet individual Key Performance Indicators
- Maintain an NPS score of above 80
- Train colleagues with knowledge gained from visited areas and support the wider team
- Ensure every itinerary is hyper-bespoke and tailors perfectly to members’ needs
- Conduct familiarisation trips abroad and present findings, identifying new product opportunities
- Collaborate with destination managers to create Wow moments for members
- Support marketing and product initiatives including brochure production, website management, email campaigns, PR, and promotional events
- Collaborate with international Scott Dunn offices to support members internationally
Requirements
- Proven track record in luxury travel sales
- Excellent proven relationship management skills
- Sales driven with focus on delivering an exceptional service level
- Extensive experience working with UHNWIs
- Impressive interpersonal skills complimented by an articulate communication style and eye for detail
- A passion for being 'in the detail', 'in the know', and 'inspiring'
