About the Role
Seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Team Assistant to support Practice Support teams, delivering high-quality administrative services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for learning and development in an administrative capacity, working collaboratively with fee earners to enable them to focus on client services.
Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners and Practice Assistants/Junior Practice Assistants, ensuring high-quality task completion and maximizing efficiency.
- Manage all documents accurately using MS Office Suite and other necessary software.
- Draft simple emails and make minor document amendments.
- Assist with housekeeping of documentation, including incoming mail and post-completion administration.
- Maintain effective filing systems, including file closure, archiving, and storage.
- Assist with the billing process, including amending narratives and processing bills.
- Record time entries for fee earners.
- Manage finance transactions and requests via the practice management system, liaising with Finance.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of files/matters, consulting with the compliance department.
- Update client contact details on the practice management system.
- Attend firm-wide/team/other training and update calls/meetings.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and firm policies.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with the Practice Support team, fee earners, and Business Teams.
- Seek help or clarification when uncertain about tasks/responsibilities.
- Provide team support to cover absences and during times of increased workflow.
- Assist BDM in organizing events and hospitality, including venue research, invitations, RSVP collation, badge preparation, and client registration.
- Assist PSM with arranging team socials/events.
- Book meeting rooms, restaurants, taxis, and arrange refreshments for meetings.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, resilience, and a proactive working style.

- Excellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
- IT literacy with good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
