About the Role
A stable, medium-sized construction company is seeking a responsible professional to lead teams and coordinate complex track and civil engineering projects. This role offers a collaborative environment with short decision-making paths and significant opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, monitor, and document track and civil engineering work on-site
- Coordinate and support skilled workers, foremen, construction helpers, and machine operators
- Instruct and train site personnel and supervise subcontractors
- Prepare daily construction reports, measurements, and documentation for tracks and switches
- Ensure the efficient use of equipment, machinery, and materials
- Ensure work is completed on time, to quality standards, and safely
- Report significant incidents to the construction management
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a track construction specialist or civil engineering specialist
- Minimum of three years of practical professional experience as a foreman in the construction industry
- Good German language skills (at least B2 level)
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Willingness to travel based on site requirements
- Availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts
