About the Role
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and operation of software within one of our projects, embracing a 'you build it, you run it, you own it' philosophy. We value TDD, Continuous Deployment, and a well-thought-out DevSecOps approach.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership & Agile Working: Work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary product team, taking responsibility for the successful implementation of features from development through testing to deployment and active operation.
- Tech-Stack & Fullstack Development: Focus on developing high-quality software, primarily with TypeScript/JavaScript, but also with technologies like Java, Spring, or React/Vue depending on the project.
- Code Quality & Security: Write clean code, apply best practices like design patterns and automated tests, and always keep security and data protection requirements in mind. Focus on scalability and actively reduce technical debt.
- Domain Knowledge & Stakeholder Communication: Actively engage with complex technical requirements, help break them down into iterative tasks, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Team Culture: Actively participate in our engineering culture through pair programming, regular code reviews, and open knowledge sharing to foster team growth and continuous development.
Requirements
- Fullstack experience: Developed and operated digital products and services holistically, comfortable in both backend (TypeScript/JavaScript, Java/Spring Boot) and frontend (React, Vue). Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- DevOps Mindset & Infrastructure Know-how: Familiarity with the DevSecOps approach, solid knowledge of infrastructure and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and comfort with Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Agile & Interdisciplinary Team Culture: Preference for working in agile, cross-functional teams, valuing constructive discussions and regular feedback with Design, Product, and User Research.
- Flexibility & Motivation: Openness to switch to other projects where needed and a strong intrinsic motivation to improve the digital aspects of public administration.
