About the Role
A Freelance Event Producer is responsible for creating impactful, in-person brand engagement moments. This role manages all elements contributing to the live delivery aspect of client campaigns, with opportunities in Birmingham and Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Manage experiential delivery, including licensing, venue sourcing, branding, customer experience, sporting management, production, logistics, technical production, show management, stakeholder management, staffing, and health & safety.
- Monitor workload against the Critical Path using Monday.com.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships.
- Stay informed about OBE London's event services, pricing, and competitive advantages.
- Complete and understand key event delivery documentation.
- Manage event budgets, including negotiation with suppliers and monitoring allocated budget lines.
- Lead and manage event delivery teams, ensuring they are equipped and briefed to OBE London standards.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Serve as an internal knowledge resource for event production.
- Act as an extension of the client's team when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an event delivery role.
- High level of competence in event production.
- Proven track record of managing experiences in various settings.
- Competent in using agency project tracking and finance platforms.
- Ability to see the big picture and demonstrate a creative approach.
