About the Role
Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology dedicated to alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life. This role involves training surgeons and OR staff on the Medtronic Hugo RAS robot to advance patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver education and training on Medtronic Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery technology, covering General Surgery, Urology, and Gynaecology indications.
- Provide technical training and support laboratory sessions and hands-on workshops.
- Apply a structured teaching methodology to assess trainee efficiency and safety.
- Master the ecosystem surrounding robotic surgery, including surgical equipment, instruments, and digital infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs teams, and surgical proctors to prepare training programs.
- Develop expertise in RAS System Technology, applications, advanced technology, OR Efficiency, Training Pathway process, and training/coaching techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and +5 years of experience in training, field sales, sales support, clinical, or technical role in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Medical device experience with Laparoscopic and/or Robotic Assisted Surgery technologies.
- Clinical and/or operating room experience.
- Proven experience and/or training mindset.
- Fluency in German and English.
- High capacity and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in design, development, delivery, and evaluation of product and procedure-based technical education and training using blended learning solutions.
- Positive mindset, team player with professional work ethic.
- Willingness to travel 75% of your time.
