About the Role
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of one or more facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. This role oversees facility services, vendor and contract management, budgeting, compliance, maintenance programs, and team leadership while delivering high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily facility operations, including maintenance, engineering, custodial, and site services.
- Oversee vendor contracts, service delivery, compliance, and cost management.
- Ensure facilities are maintained to operational, safety, and appearance standards.
- Respond to occupant requests and drive service excellence in line with SLAs.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and financial reporting.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, regulations, safety standards, and insurance requirements.
- Support capital projects, facility improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop facility team members.
- Monitor and report on operational performance and continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of facilities, property, or building management experience in a commercial or corporate environment.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, budgets, and building operations.
