About the Role

We are building Experience Research as a strategic capability and are looking for an experienced researcher to lead research for our Wealth Services business. You will help teams make better decisions by bringing a deep understanding of user needs into product and business conversations, ensuring decisions are evidence-based. You will identify key questions, contribute to research practice foundations, and operate as a senior individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end research across the wealth management lifecycle.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client, advisor, and operations staff experiences.
  • Generate evidence and insight to inform product, service, and business decisions.
  • Identify unmet needs, pain points, risks, and opportunities across customer and employee journeys.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to shape priorities.
  • Contribute to research standards, governance, and foundational elements of the Experience Research practice.
  • Champion ethical and responsible research practices in a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Significant experience conducting user, customer, product, service, or experience research in complex organisations.
  • Experience working within financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Experience conducting research for complex financial, enterprise, or data-intensive applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with research governance, ethics, compliance, and risk requirements.
  • Exposure to service design, journey research, or experience strategy.
  • Experience using AI-enabled research tools responsibly.
