About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for the repair and service of a variety of blower and pump systems. A good working knowledge in the usage of metrology equipment and machine drawings is vital to the role.
Responsibilities
- Disassembly, assessment and reassembly for repair of blower vacuum pumps and rotary valves.
- Making accurate measurement readings, replacing key components and reassembling products from notes made during initial inspection.
- Completing maintenance records and reports accurately both on paper and with a tablet.
Requirements
- Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification
- Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies
- Working knowledge of safety protocols
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
- Self-motivation and the ability to be pro-active
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to 25Kg and perform repetitive tasks
