About the Role

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, external developments, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and evolving market structures across financial services.
• Develop strategic insights and recommendations to anticipate industry developments, identify growth opportunities, and assess potential risks.
• Translate complex industry developments into clear implications and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Lead or support strategic deep dives on key industry topics including payments, securities, trade finance, digital assets, AI, central banking, and financial market infrastructure.
• Support the development of Board, ExCo, and senior leadership materials, including strategic briefings, industry outlooks, thought leadership papers, and executive presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in consulting, research, fintech, or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of global financial services trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of payments is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance research, analysis, and productivity is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation), critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
