About the Role
As a social enterprise founded in 2015, Careship aims to enable people with support needs to live as independently as possible in their own homes while relieving their caregivers. We are looking for reliable everyday helpers to support and care for individuals who require assistance with daily tasks due to age or health impairments.
Responsibilities
- Support with household chores (major part of the work)
- Accompanying clients to shopping and appointments
- Providing companionship, cooking together, and engaging in leisure activities
- Assisting with mobility (e.g., dressing, hair combing, but no personal hygiene)
Requirements
- Reliable and helpful demeanor
- Fluent German language skills
- Availability for at least four hours during the week and before 6 PM
- Interest in long-term collaboration
- Ability to provide a clean certificate of conduct (costs covered)
- EU citizen or possess a residence permit with a work permit in Germany
- Possession of and ability to use a smartphone
