About the Role
Montagu Evans is seeking a creative and insightful research analyst to improve proprietary data sources, provide market and economic reporting, and develop original insight for clients and internal stakeholders. This highly visible role is within the Central Management Team and offers excellent career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on key market areas and wider themes.
- Develop Montagu Evans’ proprietary market datasets, focusing on industrial & logistics, residential, and Central London.
- Manage and interrogate third-party datasets and maintain the suite of economic and market slides.
- Contribute to pitches, client presentations, requests, and reports.
- Respond to business requests for support.
- Liaise with stakeholders and the wider Clients, Brand and Markets Team.
- Develop new methods for data visualization and trend explanation.
Requirements
- A degree, preferably in a relevant subject (such as Economics, Geography, Real Estate or Planning).
- 1-2 years' post-graduation experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines.
- Knowledge of, or interest in, the UK’s urban geography, urban economics, and/or the property market.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience sourcing relevant datasets and information.
- GIS and spatial data analysis skills (training can be provided).
- Knowledge of statistical languages such as R or Python is advantageous.
