About the Role

Community Support Workers build trusted relationships and help older people live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. This is a rewarding role where your kindness, compassion, and reliability make a genuine difference.

Responsibilities

  • Support elderly clients in their homes with tasks promoting comfort, wellbeing, and independence.
  • Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with meal preparation and domestic cleaning.
  • Offer social support and companionship.
  • Provide shopping assistance and transport.
  • Assist with additional care needs like fitting and removing pressure stockings, respite support, and medication assistance.

Requirements

  • A current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
  • Evidence of an up-to-date flu vaccination.
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Access to a reliable, WA-registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and reference checks.
  • Availability to attend a 5-day paid induction program.
