About the Role
Community Support Workers build trusted relationships and help older people live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. This is a rewarding role where your kindness, compassion, and reliability make a genuine difference.
Responsibilities
- Support elderly clients in their homes with tasks promoting comfort, wellbeing, and independence.
- Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with meal preparation and domestic cleaning.
- Offer social support and companionship.
- Provide shopping assistance and transport.
- Assist with additional care needs like fitting and removing pressure stockings, respite support, and medication assistance.
Requirements
- A current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
- Evidence of an up-to-date flu vaccination.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Access to a reliable, WA-registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and reference checks.
- Availability to attend a 5-day paid induction program.
