About the Role
This position supports clients in transforming their entire organization through large and complex projects, overseeing their progress and execution. Accenture handles significant projects including IT outsourcing, BPO, cloud migration, global system integration, digital transformation, and sustainable business initiatives. These transformations often involve fundamental changes to client organizations and businesses, requiring complex integration of multiple solutions and collaboration across diverse internal Accenture teams. The Bid Manager plays a crucial role in managing these projects from team formation to contract finalization, extending beyond sales and proposal activities to direct project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage the bid process, including solution direction, proposal development, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Facilitate efficient collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to ensure deal team functionality.
- Oversee project schedules, resources, tasks, internal finances, and team communication.
- Manage expectations of various teams and stakeholders.
- Support project progression as a PMO lead during the sales phase.
- Ensure necessary internal and external approval processes are followed meticulously.
- Prepare and manage complex approval steps for large-scale projects.
Requirements
- Experience in consulting or project management.
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing project situations.
- Strong insight into stakeholder expectations and excellent communication skills.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
- Business-level English proficiency (sufficient for creating presentation materials and communicating with global stakeholders).
