About the Role
ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure. The ConnectSydney team are on the hunt for an experienced Construction Supervisor (Night Shift) to join our Third-Party Works division! This role will contribute to the project through the management of sub-contractor and internal teams, providing leadership by safely managing performance of people, work programs, and/or processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition, planning, execution and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver works for the project safely. This role will consist of night shifts (9pm-5am). This position also offers a fully maintained tool-of-trade vehicle for business use.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and co-ordination of subcontractor resources delivering rigid/flexible pavement road restoration projects on the TfNSW network.
- Ensure that restoration work is completed within agreed timeframes, to specification, whilst managing community relation issues on site.
- Responsible for implementation of the HSEQ system, to minimise risks, ensure controls are in place and the works are delivered safely and to a high standard.
- Verification of works and submission of quality related documentation to ensure compliance with the specifications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of TfNSW road pavements specifications essential.
- Experience within roads infrastructure industry
- Experience managing subcontractors onsite involving civil construction works
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Current driver’s License
- White Card
